It is obviously impossible to complete your masteries before you can go to stage 11, because it is the first stage which allows you to receive divine scrolls. As you can imagine, accumulating 950 Divine Scrolls 6-12 at a time is quite the challenge!
Level 15 Minotaur (you will often see dungeons referenced by an abbreviation and a number indicating the stage so, for example, this may be referred to in chat as "mino 15") can yield 24-32 base rolls, 11 at 16 advanced scrolls or 6-12 divine scrolls. The cost of each level of mastery is as follows: Minotaur drops fewer advanced scrolls than basic, and less divine than advanced, as each level requires more scrolls to advance. However, masteries become exponentially more difficult as you progress. Level 1 and 2 masteries can be obtained at any time if you feel like it, as they provide a modest power boost without too much difficulty. You can get them relatively quickly, even at low levels of the Minotaur dungeon. Basic masteries can be exploited at any time. Mastery Scrolls are used to purchase masteries. The Minotaur Dungeon is where you will get Mastery Scrolls for your Champions. You can have masteries at two levels 1, three at two from levels 2 to 5, and a single mastery at level 6.
Once you have mastered two different trees, the third tree is locked. You can master two of the three trees: Attack, Defense, and Support. This makes your first journey long to get masteries, since your 5 champions will receive them at roughly the same rate, but once you max out 4, the 5th will receive all mastery scrolls that drop, making lots of new, faster champions. You cannot get more than the maximum number of scrolls required to purchase all of your masteries, once a champion has received all of their mastery scrolls (and you have spent or stored them, the total is the maximum they can receive), they will no longer receive scrolls and the other champions on your team will receive them.
You will not receive divine scrolls until you have received all of your advanced scrolls, and you will not receive any until you have received all of your basic scrolls. After each round of minotaur, a champion will be randomly chosen to receive mastery scrolls.Įach Champion can obtain 100 Basic Scrolls, 600 Advanced Scrolls, and 950 Divine Scrolls.
They are obtained by spending Farmable Skill Scrolls from the Minotaur Dungeon. Masteries are something every champion has.
